SUOPT is a coalition of professionals and community members dedicated to reducing substance use harm.

The CWMA project actively engages prevention advocates, regional providers, and community members to strengthen the County’s Substance Use Prevention System’s media outreach and advocacy goals.

San Diego County Cannabis Public Health Initiative (CPHI) works to reduce youth access to cannabis by increasing public awareness regarding the adverse effects resulting from youth cannabis use.

Evaluation Resources

CCR’s Evaluation Resources Division offers user-friendly, community level measurement services designed to assess “what works” most effectively. Our team of program evaluators employs surveys, focus groups, key stakeholder interviews, and metrics/trend data to develop best practices for prevention.

Over the past 5 years, we have worked closely with CCR to identify trends among “at risk” populations of youth in order to help guide alcohol and drug prevention interventions across San Diego County.
